There are lots of works available in different formats…originals, prints and notecards. See below…

These watercolors were created in partnership with the Colorado Symphony Guild!

I painted these to celebrate the orchestra in one of four legendary venues in which they performed during the 2025/26 season: Boettcher Concert Hall, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall.

Prints and notecards featuring the four paintings are available through the Colorado Symphony Guild shop at Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver.

Watercolor painting of Carnegie Hall stage with Colorado Symphony, audience seats, and stage lighting, signed by artist with date February 2026.

The conductor is leading the orchestra, which includes musicians playing violins, cellos, and other instruments. Audience members are seated in front of the stage. The painting is signed and dated January 31, 2020.

Celebrate the beauty and spirit of Colorado State University with this unique set of CSU Oval watercolor notecards. Beneath the 7th Elm: CSU Oval Watercolor Greeting Card Set includes 8 premium cards featuring 4 original designs (2 of each), capturing the Oval from a single iconic vantage point beneath the 7th Elm.

Each watercolor represents a different direction—north, south, east, and west—painted plein-air on location across changing seasons. The result is a cohesive “tetratych” series that reflects the evolving character of campus life throughout the year.

More than just artwork, these cards tell a story of community. While creating this series, Pyle engaged with hundreds of students, faculty, and staff, sparking conversations about art that grew into ongoing open-air drawing and painting sessions on the Oval.

Perfect for thank-you notes, graduation messages, or keepsakes, this CSU Oval notecard set blends artistry, campus tradition, and meaningful connection.

A portion of proceeds supports the CSU Arts Management Program and the Green & Gold Initiative.

Original paintings and prints are available. Check out: www.watercolorandphoto.com - or click on the image below of one of my Fort Collins Old Town ‘tetratychs’ (a 4-painting series) to access the gallery site.

I’d be happy to discuss the sale of any of the work on that site. Feel free to reach out via email at david@pylecreative.com.
